Over the last few years Americana has coalesced into a definite genre.  Gillian

Welch, Ryan Adams, The Avett Brothers, Steve Earle, and so many other players

to study!  And all resting on the foundations laid by The Carter Family, early

Blues players, and early folk and country players.  There's way too much material to

explore in two sessions...but we can study the main styles of guitar playing that

are used to back up the songs.  Your favourite song suggestions welcomed.
