The CCR sound involves great acoustic rhythm backup, cool electric

guitar riffs,electric guitar rhythm, and a chance to solo in the blues

rock mode.  Preparation for this workshop has been fun as Lonny

and I dig into the blues based, swamp rockabilly grooves that John

Fogerty utilized so well to make CCR one of the top bands of the late

60's, early 70's.  I keep hearing Chicago blues.  Fogerty said on

his best songs he imagined Sun Studio production sounds.  It's all

so much music from the South, but the South went to Chicago and

the South went to California.
