Lonny Koch and I are going to break down some of his iconic riffs, his rhythm

playing and soloing style. And that soloing style is strongly rhythm based. 

 A master of rhythm Keith Richards called him.    There will be lots of hands

on playing examples during class time and tabs for you to take home to

review for future study.

From his 1955 debut (Maybelline, Brown Eyed Handsome Man, Roll Over

Beethoven, Johnny B Goode) to his strong songwriting resurgence in 1964,

(Promised Land, No Particular Place to Go, You Never Can Tell) Chuck Berry
